Hot Action Waxing at the Crash, Freiburg, Germany on 30 April 2024.
An evening at the Crash in Freiburg, Germany to see local punk rock band Hot Action Waxing, as they officially launch their new album, ‘Waxing Is a Lifestyle’ (yeah, baby!). The album marks a huge leap forward from their previous e.p. release, which was already a great introduction to the band.
HAW is a fairly young band, having formed only a few years ago, but they have already gigged extensively, opening for the Exploited on a number of recent dates.
Support bands The Fags (from Switzerland) and Manege Frei (from Hagen, DE) turned in solid performances to warm up the enthusiastic crowd.
Having seen HAW a few times now, it’s clear that they have been honing their stage craft over the numerous gigs with the Exploited and others, playing to fairly large crowds for such a new band. Great stuff and well worth catching if you get the opportunity.
