The Exploited at La Puce à l’Oreille in Riom, France on 17 March 2024.
Another Exploited gig in the arse-end-of-nowhere in France. This time, Riom in Auvergne in the centre of France, near Clermont Ferrand. Once again, not much in Riom as far as I could see, although we did find a bar near the venue with very friendly staff. They kindly stayed open a little bit longer to let us have a few beers before the gig.
A small venue, so a sold out show this time, but another solid performance from the guys. A quick word about Dominic Hardy, the new drummer, who has seamlessly slotted into the lineup as replacement for Jo Oom who has returned to his own band after a year on the drums for the Exploited.
A day off tomorrow before returning to Switzerland for the next gig in Lucerne, Switzerland.
