Fields of the Nephilim at the O2 Academy in Newcastle, U.K. on 30 June 2019.
The last of the 3 nights that I attended of the short 4-gig UK mini-tour by Fields of the Nephilim, at the O2 Academy in Newcastle. I was unable to attend the first of the gigs in Glasgow, but I managed to get over for the following 2 in Leeds and Nottingham, as well as this one in Newcastle.
I didn’t manage to take any pictures at the first 2 of the gigs, as I was too busy enjoying the (24th) moment, but I did take a few photos in Newcastle. The setlist at all 3 was identical and held no surprises, but I am just happy to still be able to hear these wonderful songs played live by a very competent group of musicians, fronted by the charismatic Carl MacCoy.
According to my gig notes, the Nottingham gig already surpassed the Leeds one in my opinion, and then Newcastle topped them all.
