A really cool venue for Belgian street punk band This Means War tonight at the Kick’n Rush & Fanhaus in Mainz, Germany. Housed in the fan complex dedicated to Mainz football club, the Kick’n Rush is a bar with a side room that can house concerts on a small scale.
The guys from TMW generously ply me with beers before they take the stage, so I am well up for it by the time they begin their set. The public seem largely to be fans of street punk style music, so the band is very enthusiastically received and play a very strong set. A very enjoyable evening from a great melodic street punk band, in a really good venue.
