Loose Articles + Adverse 96 at l’Entrepôt in Arlon, Belgium on 27 October 2024.
A fun evening out yesterday at l’Entrepôt in Arlon watchingLoose Articles from Manchester, supported by Adverse 96 from (all over) Belgium. The support band were rather good, playing hardcore punk rock, but with good melodies and not too americanised sound (for my taste 
).
Loose Articles can be described as “experimental” punk rock, with discordant tunes and topical lyrics. A few lighthearted moments, including the audience challenged to limbo dance under the microphone lead. I didn’t expect to be translating the terms “welder” and “construction worker” from English to French for a punk rock band. 
An attempt to destroy the drummer’s already damaged cymbal didn’t meet with success, despite several valiant attempts by the band and the audience. A fun gig filled with good humour and 2 bands to watch out for.
