TV Smith and the Bored Teenagers at Don’t Panic in Essen, Germany on 26 March 2025.
A welcome return to Don’t Panic in Essen for TV Smith and the Bored Teenagers on the first date of their European tour. I always enjoy gigs at Don’t Panic and I try to get there whenever there is one of “my” bands playing.
The members of the Bored Teenagers are based in Spain and have been playing with Tim (TV Smith) for a few years now, so they are well seasoned in playing the old Adverts tunes. The guys are already sounding great on only the first gig of the tour, playing most of the early Adverts classics + several of TV Smith’s more recent songs. Many of those I don’t believe I’ve heard played by a full band before. I look forward to seeing them again in Dusseldorf next week.
