The Exploited + Face Up + Critikill at La Belle Angele in Edinburgh, U.K. on 22 December 2023.
Now that’s the way to end the year of gigs! Great to catch the The Exploited in their home town of Edinburgh, with Face Up on just before them, and Critikill opening up the evening. Unfortunately only a few photos of the first 2 bands as I was not very well positioned for their sets. A cracker of a gig, just brilliant from all 3 bands.
It was lovely to see a few faces from The Exploited’s past in the venue, as well as some of the band’s family members. I’d started the festivities with a whisky tasting afternoon in a very nice Edinburgh bar, so I was well up for it by the time the venue opened. Met up with a couple of friends and fellow Exploited fanatics in the venue. Well worth the short overnight trip to Scotland.
So, that wraps up 2023, with 108 gigs throughout the year. Looking forward to more of the same next year. Best wishes to all for the festive season and see you in 2024.
