The Exploited + Lion’s Law at the Alhambra in Geneva, Switzerland on 16 March 2024.
An iconic venue in Geneva, the Alhambra is now classified as an historic monument and it is easy to see why. Originally constructed as a cinema and theatre it was a slightly incongruous place to see the Exploited play as part of a 2 day festival.
Support was provided by Lion’s Law, a street punk/oi band originating from Paris. Thankfully (for my tastes) they sing in English, as I am not sure that the French language lends itself too well to oi style music. I rather enjoyed their set but spent a lot of it watching the bassist who is a very impressive player.
Another great performance from the Exploited with Wattie looking good once again and in fine voice. The lighting was a bit challenging to take photos with a predominance of reds and blues, particularly during the Exploited set.
A return to France tomorrow for another gig in the middle of nowhere.
