A short drive up to Helmond to see Fields of the Nephilim at De Cacaofabriek for a one-off show in the Netherlands. Just a short review and a few photos this time, as I was too busy enjoying myself to spend much time taking notes and pictures. 🙂
New(ish) track ‘Prophecy’ is played as an encore, even though it already dates from 2016 ! Any new music from the Nephs is very welcome, although I’ve not been convinced by this one since its first release. The now standard ‘Last Exit for the Lost’ follows which means that Prophecy is soon forgotten and the final build-up is a spectacular as ever. 🙂
Just happy to still be able to hear the classic Nephs songs played by competent musicians. Long may it continue.
