HiFi Spitfires at Circolo Anarchico Ponte Ghisolfa-Milano in Milano on 16 February 2024.
A proper punk rock venue (Circolo Anarchico) for the first of the HiFi Spitfires’ 3 days in Northern Italy. An old-school squat-type venue with all the best facilities. 
HiFi Spitfires are a 3-piece punk rock band from the North-East of England with a classic guitar punk sound (think The Clash, SLF, etc.). Guitarist Steve also plays guitar with the U.K. Subs and bass with Loaded 44, which features his wife Beki on vocals.
The gig was a really great start to the 3 days with a surprisingly large turn-out for a relatively unknown band, so all credit to the Promoter. A cracking venue too that reminded me of some of the places that the old punk bands used to play in Germany in the early 80s. On to Carmagnola tomorrow.
Great venue, great people, great gig and great turn out.
