An awesome final gig of the Mission tour in London at the Roundhouse. The venue is most impressive, being large and cavernous, yet surprisingly with a feeling of intimacy when you are amongst an enthusiastic, likeminded crowd. A brilliant way to end this mini tour, the last for a while (?).
I have had a wonderful time over these past 5 days with a great band and in the company of many great people. I have caught up with loads of friends, many of whom I haven’t seen for a while, and lots of new friends made along the way. It was nice to get to chat with Simon and Wayne at the after show party on the first floor of the venue after the gig. Hope we all get to do it again sometime in the future.
This is supposed to be the last Mission gig for the foreseeable future, but that remains to be seen. I have already been to several “final” shows by the band in the past, and with an anniversary year coming up in 2025, I doubt we will have to wait too long to see them again. 😉 Let’s hope that’s the case.
