The Mistakes at Rebellion Festival in Blackpool, UK on 2 August 2024.
There was never really going to be any doubt that The Mistakes would be on my Rebellion highlights this year, as they are one of my favourite “new” punk rock bands at the moment.
Once again, the Arena was full, and the new layout meant that the front of stage area was particularly packed. It seemed that quite a few folk there were already familiar with The Mistakes’ songs, and I’m sure that those who weren’t were well impressed with their set. The guys in the band seemed to be having a lot of fun too, which certainly came across to me. They played a great set, full of energy, and left the stage with the crowd wanting more.
Great stuff and look out for them on tour in Europe in October 2024.
