The second of Punk Rock’s ‘Holy Trinity’ to take the stage in Drachten this evening, following the mighty GBH earlier (see previous post), and before the Exploited who follow. Billed as the ‘Special Guest’ at the show, I was over the moon when it was announced that they would be joining this already amazing lineup.
As with GBH earlier, the excellent lighting conditions and my positioning at stage front meant that I am able to catch some pretty decent shots of the Subs in action.
This is my penultimate U.K. Subs gig of 2024, number 27 of 28 for the year. 😳 The set is pretty much what I’ve come to expect, which is unsurprising having seen them so many times this year. Needless to say, another fantastic gig, with Charlie and the band on brilliant form, full of energy despite his approaching 80th birthday. Looking forward to gig number 28 in Budapest before Christmas. 🙂
