Another great punk rock festival today in the company of some great friends and some equally great bands.💥 This time, Scotland Calling in Glasgow.🤘 Here are my highlights :

I arrive too late to catch Fire Exit, but I’ve seen them a few times recently, and I am sure that they were great, as they were in Benidorm a few weeks ago.

  • Cyanide Pills : I manage to catch most of their set, as I rush to get to the venue once I arrive in Glasgow. Looking cool and sounding cool, as the previous times that I’ve seen them. Check them out if you get the opportunity
  • Riskee and the Ridicule : I’ve really grown to like this band, after initially not being so keen the first time that I saw them. Cracking band live and I’ve been enjoying their recorded output recently too. A modern take on punk rock with elements of grime.
  • Spear Of Destiny : Always a bit odd seeing Spear at a punk rock festival, but they put on a great show despite the odds. Good to see Craig on bass looking well.
  • GBH : Yep, great stuff. Mopsy standing in on bass guitar does a fine job.☺️
  • Anti-Nowhere League : Another band that (as I’ve said before) have really grown on me in recent years. Great stuff.👍
  • UK SUBS : Yep again. Abe on guitar this time. Brilliant as always.🔥

Looking forward to more of the same (or similar) soon, somewhere in Europe.😄
