Great to catch Guitar Gangsters again supporting the UK Subs in Guildford tonight. I’ve only discovered this “young” ( 🙂 ) band quite recently, but I’m enjoying them more and more each time I see them, and as I get more familiar with their songs. They’re supporting the Subs again tomorrow in Cardiff, so looking forward to seeing them again then.
Great performance by the ever brilliant UK Subs in possibly one of the smallest venues/stages that I’ve seen them play in over the last 3 decades or so. Unfortunately, the lighting engineer seems to think that he is at the Royal Albert Hall or something for most of the show, though.
A cracking evening of fantastic music from both bands.
Spoiler Alert: If there are any kids reading this, please turn away now, as I am about to dispel a long-held children’s myth.
Not only is Charlie the real King Charles, but he is also the real Santa Claus. The photos below prove it.
Thankfully, whilst Charlie was regaling us with tales of Santa doing unmentionable things, his little helper Steve (Happy Elf) obliged us by putting on his work hat, although Alvin (Grumpy Elf) declined to do so.
On to bigger (stage) and better things tomorrow evening in Cardiff, which will be my final gig of the year.
